Across many shamanic traditions, healing songs are understood to be gifts from the spirits. From the icaros of the Amazon to the joiks of the Sámi to the Medicine Songs from North America the song is used as a bridge between worlds — a way of carrying intention, restoring balance, and allowing healing to unfold.
At this meeting we will receive healing songs from nature for ourselves and others. These songs are not created from ourselves but are received through listening and allowing them to arise from the spirits of the land, the elements, and the living world around us. As we allow the song to sing through us energy begins to move, connection deepens, and the song itself carries what is needed. In this way, healing becomes something that flows—both for the singer and for the one receiving. No singing ability is required.
This meeting is our annual outdoor summer meeting and picnic and will be held in Kensington Gardens in the centre of London. We meet under a grove of trees which gives protection from the sun and light showers. Please bring food to share, your own drink. We will bring plates, cutlery etc and some fans.

Find out what they would like healing for before you go. Walk out together, the person doing the healing work does a walking journey to find a plant that is willing to share a healing song for their partner – both sit with the plant and the healing song is sung to the person
